We are officially 22 days away from the CCT Reunion – Las Vegas.

The registration fee will increase TOMORROW to $150 per person (April 1, 2026).

Hotel Room Block

Our discounted room block at the South Point EXPIRED (on March 29, 2026). All remaining rooms were released back to the hotel, and rates are at the hotel’s prevailing rate.

Golf Tournament

The golf registration deadline EXPIRED (on March 23, 2026); however, there might be a slot or two available to round out any remaining foursomes.

Desert Shield / Desert Storm Photos Needed

As many of you know, this year’s reunion theme highlights Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and we are looking for more photos from that era.

If you have photos from deployments, training, airfields, teams in the desert, or any moments from that time period, please submit them so we can include them in the rotating photo displays during the receptions and banquet.

Northwest Team

The NW Team tentatively plans to depart on 18 or 19 Apr 26.  The itinerary is forthcoming; Lee will get the final info out once it’s firmed up.

  • Monday, 20 Apr 26 – The Vegas team will rent bikes from Eagle Rider, 7660 Dean Martin Dr., Las Vegas, NV.  702-876-8687.
  • Tuesday 21 Apr 26 – Vegas Crew will meet at bikes outside the South Point Hotel Casino at 0800L for a quick brief, then KSU, and head to Miss Best Sewing, 546 Broadway, El Cajon, CA 92021. 
    • Expect a chow break en route.
    • Teams will link up and get patches sewn on. 
    • After Miss Best Sewing, beers and chow at Mike Hess Brewing, 1347 Tavern Rd, Alpine, CA 91901. 
    • Once complete at the brewery, ride to The Thiel (TL) compound, 22920 Illahee Dr, Alpine, CA 91901. RON.

 

Composite Team

  • Wednesday 22 Apr 26 – We’ll depart the TL compound at 0800L for The Broken Yoke Café, 9832 Mission Gorge Rd, Santee, Ca 92071.  
    • After breakfast, we’ll move to Mt. Soledad for John Chapman’s plaque dedication and ceremony.  Mt. Soledad, 6905 La Jolla Scenic Dr S, La Jolla, Ca 92037.
    • Afterward, we’ll ride back to the compound for beers, chow, and pool party time.
  • Thursday, 23 Apr 26 – 0800L KSU riding to Vegas.  South Point Hotel and Casino, 9777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89183.
    • Expect a food stop en route.
  • Friday, 24 Apr 26 – 0900L showtime at bikes, briefing and prayer, then ride to Moapa Valley (bring state or Fed Park passes, just in case).  
    • We’ll do lunch and drinks at CABLP Bar and Grill/Red Rooster Bar, 309 S Moapa Valley Blvd, Moapa Valley, NV 89040.  
    • As the mission dictates, depart Moapa for Lake Mead Park and Beer Zombies in Boulder City.  Beer Zombies, 567 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV 89005.
    • Back to the South Point Hotel and Casino for more CCT festivities.

Many of you have been bugging us about golf registration for 2026, and it’s been open for a while, but only two have signed up so far!
 
WHO:  Those interested in playing golf this year at the 2026 CCT Reunion – Las Vegas
 
WHAT:  Two Days of Golf!  
  • Day 1 – Stroke Play / Choose Your Foursome or Not / Practice Round 
  • Day 2 – Scramble / Choose Your Foursome or Not / Championship
WHEN:
  • Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 – 0730L Tee Time for sequential start (not shotgun).
  • Friday, April 24th, 2026 – 0730L Tee Time for sequential start (not shotgun). 
 
WHERE:  The Legacy Golf Club
 
WHY:  Because everyone likes playing with balls!
 
HOW:  Due to participation numbers last year and bus pricing, we will carpool again this year.  Please ensure you complete the POV driver/passenger section of the registration so we can arrange rides to/from the course.
 
 
If anyone wants to sponsor a hole, donate prizes, buy drinks, etc., or if you know of a company that may wish to do so, please let us know.

Quick reminder for everyone planning to attend the Combat Control Reunion – Las Vegas:

Early Bird registration pricing ends 31 January 2026.
On 01 February 2026, registration will increase to $125 per person.

If you are on the fence, now is the time to lock it in.

Important registration note:
When registering on the website, please accept cookies if or when prompted.  Square will block the transaction if cookies are not allowed, including when browser cookie blockers are enabled.  A few members have already run into this issue, and this has been the fix.

If you experience any trouble during registration, double-check cookie settings first before trying again.
